About the Professional Education Center

The American Heart Association’s Professional Education Center is designed to be your source for the latest in Cardiovascular and Stroke Continuing Education. It's the single location for you to maintain all your AHA Continuing Education history.

The Professional Education Center offers a variety of free continuing education opportunities delivered through a variety of e-learning platforms to meet your preferred style of learning! Sign up today to take AHA online courses, satellite broadcasts, webinars and podcasts. For those who prefer LIVE learning, the Professional Education Center offers registration opportunities for many AHA workshops and conferences.

Once you have registered for an event or course, simply open the course outline from the My Courses tab located on the left menu. Within the course outline you will be able to complete an online course, download resources, complete pre/post tests and claim a certificate of completion or credit. This information is maintained on the Professional Education Center, allowing you to return anytime to reprint a certificate or transcript of your education.

After claiming credit for a course, visit the American Heart Association's Professional Online Network, to create or participate in a discussion about the course in the Professional Education Center's forum.  The Professional Online Network is an opportunity for you to connect with other science and medical professionals!
